Detail Work in Commission Building

This building is located on the north west corner of Maumee and Broad Street. It is often called the "Old Post Office" as it was originally built in 1906 by the U.S. Department of Treasury as a post office. Most recently it was used by the Adrian Public Schools to house the adult education program. Construction is nearing completion in this building and it will soon be used for our City Commission meetings and by our city police department. Recently the focus is on detail work such as the repair of the wood work and painting throughout the building. Tom from Krieghoff-Lenawee has been working on repairing the damaged wood and duplicating the original architectural design.
