There will be wrought iron fence and gate just to the east of the library's back door that leads to the police station parking lot. This week a crew from Adrian - Tecumseh Fence Company worked on prepping the area for the fence installation and Dave from Service Electric placed conduits for the card reader.

Police Site and Future Parking Lot
In these photos Associated Engineers and Surveyors from Adrian are working on the police site and parking lot. Once the parking lot behind the new police station is installed the police will be ready to start moving in. Slusarski Excavating & Paving will be laying the blacktop as soon as the asphalt factory opens their doors this spring.

Detail Work at the Police Station
The Police Station interior work is complete and you can now see the final detail work taking place. Rayhaven is installing the lockers and Skylight Painting is doing the touch up work which is necessary once construction is completed. Chief Collins appears to be settling in to his new home and supervisoring the cleaning crew. Top to Bottom Cleaning from Tipton is doing a great job cleaning the windows.

Police Fencing Coming Down
Adrian -Tecumseh Fence Company, along with J.E. Johnson project manager Kirk Valentine removed the fencing on the Maumee St. side of the new police station today. The construction trailer will be also be removed soon. The plans are to install grass along the curb from the library west to Broad Street once the weather breaks.

Police Flooring and Doors
Baseline from Chelsea have been installing the doors and hardware at the new police station over the past week. The flooring in the police station is being installed by Trist Creek Flooring Inc. from Grass Lake. They were hired by SPACE, our interior designers. SPACE, from Midland, did the design work for the entire city complex project. The complex includes the Adrian Public Library, City Hall, the Chambers building and the Police Station.
